The event organized in Naples had the aim of introducing the IBIMD project to an audience made up of both students and professional architects and engineers, as well as to start a collective discussion on the current use of BIM in Italy and on the needs (fulfilled or not) of the Italian construction industry to move towards an increasing level of digitalization. The discussion had also been fruitful to lead the selection of contents of the course to be developed within the project. With this regard, the architect Guido de Martino, as BIM manager of one of the most eminent Neapolitan studios (PCAint: Pica-Ciamarra associate) held a presentation to share his direct experience on the use of the BIM method and its implementation in the company's activity.
